Birds in Origami by John Montroll, 48 pages, 15 models, ISBN: 0-486-28341-0.
This is a relatively easy book, compared to others by Montroll - it was actually my first "real" Origami book, and I did okay with it. Not like I got everything right on the first try or anything - that's far from the truth. But I definitely had a less frustrating start than lots of people I've heard of who got Origami Sea Life or Origami Insects first:-)
There's no explicit complexity rating, but models get harder towards the end of the book.
